We like to keep things straightforward. These Terms of Service explain how our website works, what you can expect when ordering from Hethel Print & Design and what we ask from you in return.
By using our website, placing an order or using any of our services, you agree to these terms. Please take a few minutes to read through them before ordering.
About these terms
This website is operated by Hethel Print & Design. When we use the words “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Hethel Print & Design.
These terms apply to anyone who visits our website, contacts us through the site or purchases products or services from us.
From time to time, we may need to update these terms as our services, products or website change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
Using our website
We ask that our website and services are used lawfully and responsibly.
You must not use the website to carry out anything illegal, interfere with the operation or security of the site, introduce malicious software or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.
You must also not copy, reproduce, resell or commercially exploit content from our website without our permission.
We reserve the right to refuse or restrict access to our services where we reasonably believe the website or our services are being misused.
Information on our website
We do our best to make sure the information on our website is clear, accurate and up to date.
However, occasionally mistakes can happen. This might include errors relating to product descriptions, prices, delivery charges, availability, dimensions or other information.
If we spot an error, we may correct or update it at any time. If an error affects an order you’ve already placed, we’ll contact you wherever possible and explain the options available.
Products, services and availability
We offer a wide range of printed, personalised and creative products, and some items may only be available in limited quantities or for a limited period.
We may change, update or discontinue products and services from time to time.
Product photographs, mock-ups and examples are intended to give you a good idea of what you’ll receive, but there may occasionally be small differences between what you see on a screen and the finished item.
This is particularly important with printed products, where colours, materials and finishes can appear differently depending on your screen, the printing process and the material being printed onto.
Prices
We aim to keep all prices on our website accurate, but prices may change from time to time.
Unless stated otherwise, the price shown when you place your order will be the price that applies to that order.
If we discover an obvious pricing mistake after an order has been placed, we reserve the right to contact you and either correct the order with your agreement or cancel and refund it.
Placing an order
When placing an order, please make sure the information you provide is complete and accurate. This includes your name, contact details, billing information, delivery address and any information needed to produce your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where necessary. This might happen if there is a pricing error, an item is unavailable, we cannot reasonably fulfil the order or we believe an order has been placed fraudulently or for unauthorised resale.
If we need to change or cancel an order, we’ll make reasonable efforts to contact you using the details supplied when the order was placed.
Artwork approval
For printed, personalised and custom-made products, artwork approval is an important part of the process.
We’ll normally send you a proof or artwork preview before your order goes into production. It’s your responsibility to carefully check everything before approving it.
Please take the time to check:
spelling and grammar
names, telephone numbers and email addresses
dates and prices
sizes and positioning
colours and overall layout
logos, photographs and other design elements
Once you approve the artwork, you are confirming that you’re happy for us to produce the order as shown.
If an error was present in artwork that you approved, we cannot normally reproduce the order free of charge. If you would like the item produced again, additional design, setup, printing and material costs may apply.
We’d much rather catch a mistake before anything is printed, so if you’re unsure about something on your proof, please ask us before approving it.
Your artwork and copyright
When you provide us with artwork, photographs, logos, text, trademarks or other material, you’re confirming that you have permission to use it and to ask us to reproduce it.
You are responsible for making sure any material you supply does not infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
If you’re unsure whether you have permission to use something, it’s always best to check before asking us to print or reproduce it.
Print colours and finished results
Printing is a physical process, which means there can sometimes be small differences between what you see on your screen, the proof you approve and the final printed product.
Computer screens display colour differently from printed materials, so we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between an on-screen design and the finished print.
Slight colour variations can also occur between different print runs, materials and printing methods.
Digital or PDF proofs are primarily provided so you can check the content, positioning and overall design. They should not be treated as an exact representation of the final printed colour.
Where a very specific colour match is important to your project, please speak to us before ordering so we can discuss the most suitable printing method.
Custom and personalised products
Many of the products we make are created specifically for an individual customer.
Because of this, specially made, personalised and custom-printed products cannot normally be returned simply because you’ve changed your mind after production has started or the item has been produced.
If we have made a mistake, or your product arrives faulty, damaged or different from the approved artwork, please contact us and we’ll look into it properly.
Delivery
We take care when preparing and packing orders, but occasionally something can go wrong during delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, something is missing or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We may ask you to send photographs of the item and its packaging so we can understand what has happened and work out the best way to resolve it.
More information about delivery times, charges, missed deliveries and tracking can be found in our Shipping Policy.
Third-party services and links
Our website may occasionally contain links to other websites or use services provided by third parties.
We don’t control those websites and cannot take responsibility for their content, availability, products, services or privacy practices.
If you choose to use a third-party website or service, we recommend checking its own terms and policies first.
Reviews, comments and other content
We’re always pleased to receive reviews, feedback, photographs and comments from our customers.
When submitting content through our website or social media, please make sure it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe someone else’s rights.
We reserve the right to remove content from our own website or channels where we reasonably consider it inappropriate, unlawful, misleading or harmful.
Using photographs and content from orders
We love sharing the work we produce and may occasionally use photographs or videos of completed projects for our website, social media or other marketing.
This could include images of signs, clothing, printed materials, personalised products or other work we have produced.
If you don’t want your order to be photographed or used for promotional purposes, just let us know when you place your order or contact us as soon as possible afterwards.
We’ll respect your preference and make sure the relevant content isn’t used in our marketing.
Personal information
Any personal information you give us through our website or when placing an order will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
This may include information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing details and delivery information where these are needed to deal with your enquiry or fulfil your order.
Website availability
We’ll always aim to keep our website and online services running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that they will be available without interruption.
From time to time we may need to update, maintain, change or temporarily remove parts of the website.
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Our responsibility to you
We’ll always aim to provide our products and services with care and deal fairly with our customers.
However, we cannot accept responsibility for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by information, artwork or instructions supplied incorrectly by the customer.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict any rights you have under applicable law.
Ending or refusing a service
We may refuse, suspend or end a service where someone seriously breaches these terms, fails to make a required payment, uses our services unlawfully or behaves in a way that makes it unreasonable for us to continue providing the service.
Any obligations or amounts already due before the service ends will still apply.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
Governing law
These Terms of Service and any agreements between you and Hethel Print & Design are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, services or the way we work.
The most recent version will always be published on this page, so you can check back whenever you need to.
